Partnering with HERO as a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to work in the HERO warehouse of office, helping to prepare the usable medical equipment and supplies for redistribution to neighbors in need in your community and throughout the world.
| Duties for Warehouse Volunteers |


- Suggested minimum age: 11
- Suggested group size: 4 to 15
- Suggested session: 1 to 2 hours
- An adult sponsor must accompany a group with four or more individuals under the age of 18
- All volunteers must read and sign the Volunteer Information Form
- Minors will need signed consent from a parent or guardian
- Groups must call in advance to schedule work sessions
HERO welcomes all groups and individuals who wish to assist with HERO’s work. Pleases call in advance to speak with the volunteer coordinator to plan special projects or to volunteer for office work.

- Organize your team before contacting HERO
- Provide HERO with the number of team members, dates available and contact information
- Remember that your team is responsible for providing its own transportation and refreshments
- Warehouse activity can be messy, so please dress accordingly
- Be prepared to clean up after your group or project
HERO is seeking a group or groups of higher education students to assist with established projects and programs or develop new opportunities for HERO.

- Cleaning/organizing the warehouse
- On-call availability for loading large or heavy equipment
- Delivering smaller orders to area residents and non-profit agencies
- Cleaning equipment for redistribution
